WHAT

Mental Health Law Centre WA (MHLCWA) is an important statewide not for profit organization providing free legal advice and representation to people who experience a mental health illness. Although the content on their website was valuable, the visitor’s experience was dampened by a dated design and a clunky user journey.

IDEAS

We worked with MHLCWA closely to devise the best strategy for the usability stage. The main users of their website were not just limited to people with mental health illness but also their family and friends seeking advice as well as lawyers. We recruited people from all of these demographics to find out what information they wanted, what solutions they were looking and for and questions they needed answered. Once we collated all of this intelligence we were able to design the site around the various user journeys.

MHLCWA now have a website to match the amazing work they do. It includes an introduction to their services as well as stories of people they have helped over the years. They are able to advertise their regular events in the Event Calendar and receive online donations through the website also.
